NOTES:

When laying Pre-coated chippings with Hot Rolled Asphalt the rate of spread is approximately 1.8 kgs/mē or to match the existing surface.

Tack coat is sprayed at a spread rate of 0.4 - 0.6 litre/mē with no ponding.

No contaminants must come into contact with the materials, such as diesel or detergents as it will break down the binder. The use of fine dust or sand is permissible. A tool heater must be available to heat rakes, shovels, etc.
